* If a Pokemon is captured while not being strengthened by Weather, its Power Enhancement level is limited to the recipient’s Trainer Level +2
*For example, Level 30 Trainers can receive Pokemon up to Power up level 35 (Weather boost) or 32 (not Weather boost). If a Pokemon has a higher Power up level, its CP will be reduced to that Power up level. - Assign a new, completely random Individual Value with a minimum value based on Friendship level, and that base value will increase the higher the level.
In other words, as a trainer’s friendship level with a friend increases, they will have a slightly greater chance of receiving a strong Pokemon when trading. It doesn’t rule out the possibility that a Pokemon that isn’t great will still be superior in battle after being exchanged with a friend.
Special Trades in the Pokemon Go Game
Special trades are carried out by trainers in exchanging Legendary Pokemon, Shiny Pokemon, Purified Pokemon, and Pokemon that are not yet registered in the Pokedex. Special trades can only be done once a day to limit a trainer from making many trades to many friends. Specialty trades become more accessible as time goes by.
